Sprinkle with flour and stir for 2 minutes (it becomes dry and crumbly).

Slowly stir in broth and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook until thickens, stirring frequently, about 2 minutes.

Stir in cream cheese and 1/2 the asiago and continue to stir until cubes dissolve….
