In a bowl, combine together flour and ½ cup sugar. Set aside.

In another bowl, beat egg yolks with electric mixer on high speed until thick and lemon-colored.

Gradually add remaining 1 cup sugar, while beating continuously for 5 minutes.

Fold in orange rinds.

Wash beaters thoroughly…..
