Baked Bananas With Honey & Cinnamon


Makes 2 Servings


Line toaster over tray with nonstick aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Lightly brush banana halves with lemon juice. Place cut-sides up on toaster tray.

Spoon honey over banana halves and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven; cut into 1-inch pieces….

"Fried" Honey Cinnamon Bananas


Cut the banana into 1/8in width. Just like the image below.


Mix together honey and 1/2 table­spoon water in a bowl and set aside.


Place a fry­ing pan on the stove top under medium heat and spray gen­er­ously with the coconut oil spray.


Add the banana’s and once browned (about 1–2 min­utes) flip over.

I seem to be on a banana kick lately. These simple, guiltless baked bananas taste similar to Bananas Foster and you’ll swear there’s butter in there! Great served with whipped cream, fro-yo, chopped nuts, raisins or even served with oatmeal.
